Account

The account you register, identified by your email address.

Content

Everything you enter: transactions, accounts, budgets, categories, debts, orders, lists, notes, and the details of any person you record.

Free plan

Use of HisabX without a paid subscription, supported by advertising.

Paid plan

Any subscription tier, however it was arranged.

Store

Google Play, the Apple App Store, or another distributor you installed the app from.

• You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use HisabX only with a parent or guardian who accepts these terms on your behalf and who must authorise any purchase.
• You must not be barred from using the Service under the law of your country, and providing it to you must not be unlawful for us.
• One person, one account. You may keep as many businesses inside your account as you like, but an account is not to be shared between people who each need their own records.

• Keep your password to yourself, and keep the device you stay signed in on locked. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
• Give us an email address you actually control. It is how you recover access, and how we reach you about the account.
• Tell us promptly at hisabx.app@gmail.com if you think somebody else is using your account.
• If you sign in with Google, access to your HisabX account follows access to that Google account: losing one may mean losing the route into the other.

• HisabX is built to work with no connection: an entry is saved on your device first and sent to your account when a connection returns. That is the design, and it is why the app is usable on a bus.
• It also means a change can take time to appear on another device, and that two devices edited apart may resolve in an order you did not expect — in general, the last write to arrive wins. Where that matters, let one device finish syncing before working on another.
• Sync is a convenience, not a backup service. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose; the app exports one on demand.
• Reminders and dates depend on your device's clock and time zone. A wrong clock produces a wrong reminder.

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, or to hide, launder or misrepresent the proceeds of anything unlawful;
• try to reach another account, another person's data, or any part of the system you have not been given access to;
• probe, scan, overload or interfere with the Service, or attempt to defeat a limit, a gate or a security control;
• reverse engineer, decompile or extract the source of the app, except so far as the law expressly permits despite this restriction;
• scrape, bulk-download or resell any part of the Service, or use it to build a competing product;
• tamper with advertising, with a subscription check, or with anything that determines what your account is entitled to;
• upload malicious code, or use the Service to distribute it;
• impersonate anybody, or misrepresent your association with a person or a business.

• HisabX is free to use, and free accounts see advertising. Ads are how the free plan is paid for, and using the free plan means agreeing to see them.
• Some ads are optional: an offer to watch a short video in exchange for something. It is a choice, and declining costs you nothing.
• A feature that is free stays available whether an ad loads, fails or is skipped. An ad is never the thing standing between you and your own records.
• We do not give your Content to advertisers, and no ad is chosen using it. The Privacy Policy sets out what an ad network does receive.
• Any paid plan removes advertising.

• A paid plan unlocks the features listed on the plan screen in the app at the time you subscribe. That screen is the current statement of what each plan contains.
• A subscription bought through a Store is billed by that Store, in your local currency, at the price shown before you confirm. It renews automatically for the same period until cancelled, and the Store charges you shortly before each renewal under its own rules.
• Prices can change. A change never applies to a period already paid for, and where a Store requires it you will be asked to accept a new price before it is charged.
• Manage or cancel a subscription in your Store account. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not shorten a period you have already paid for.
• A purchase is tied to your HisabX account and to the Store account that bought it. Restoring purchases on a new device is done from inside the app.
• We may change what a plan includes. If we remove something material from a plan you are paying for, we will tell you before the change takes effect, and you may cancel.

• A new account may be offered a trial of a paid plan. Where we grant the trial ourselves it needs no payment method and there is nothing to cancel: at the end of it the account simply returns to free. One trial per account.
• Where a trial is offered through a Store, that Store's rules govern it — including when it converts into a paid subscription, and how to stop it before it does.
• A plan arranged directly with us, paid by bKash, cash or bank transfer, runs for the period agreed and ends at the end of it. It does not renew automatically.

• Nothing is deleted, and nothing is locked away. Your records stay, and remain readable, editable and exportable.
• The features the plan unlocked stop. Where a lapse would otherwise break something you had already set up, we allow a short courtesy period before the feature closes, so that a failed renewal does not become a lost afternoon.
• Advertising returns.

• We add, change and occasionally remove features. Some are released gradually and some are switched on for a subset of accounts first, so the app you have may briefly differ from the app somebody else has.
• We may require an update in order to keep using the app, and we may take the Service down for maintenance. We will keep both as brief as we can.
• A feature marked experimental or beta is offered as it stands and may change or disappear.

• To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost business, lost goodwill, or the loss or corruption of data — however caused, and even if we had been told it was possible.
• To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or 2,000 BDT.
• Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

• You may stop at any time: sign out, remove the app, or delete your account from Settings.
• Deleting your account is permanent. It removes the account and everything attached to it, immediately, with no recovery. Export first.
• We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that is being used unlawfully, or where we are required to. Where it is reasonable and lawful, we will tell you first, give you a chance to put it right, and give you a reasonable opportunity to export your records — except where the breach makes that inappropriate.
• We may discontinue the Service. If we do, we will give reasonable notice and a way to export.
• Provisions that by their nature should outlast the agreement — the licence covering Content we still hold, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law — survive termination.

Entire agreement

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the Service, and replace anything said before.

Severability

If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stands, and that provision applies as far as it lawfully can.

No waiver

Not enforcing something once is not giving it up.

Assignment

You may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may, on notice, as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

Third parties

Nobody other than you and us may enforce these terms, except as stated above for the app stores.

Language

These terms are published in English and Bangla. Where the two differ, the English version governs.

Events outside our control

Neither of us is liable for a failure caused by something genuinely beyond our reasonable control.
